A Utopia Story
What is Utopia? Where does this idea come from? How long has it been around? Perhaps for the entirety of human history. Who is Thomas More? Are you tending the garden?.
The piece consists of three performers, a bench, a tech table and a music station. At times it resembles a ted talk, a presentation. At times it resembles a piece of drama, at times live music gig, at times a film screening. This piece has been created in collaboration with Manchester based saxophonist, performer and songwriter Dan Gribbin.
Dan Gribbin
Dan is a professional saxophonist, performer and songwriter who became a vital part of the show, providing key dramaturgical skills and excellent musical expertise throughout the process. His musical input and theatrical collaboration created the supportive back bone to the show that helped thread all themes together in harmony.
